Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes

For the Pancakes

  • Foster Clark’s buttermilk pancake mix
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 550 ml milk

For the Cinnamon Swirl

  • 4 Tbsp melted butter
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Cream Cheese Drizzle

  • 4 Tbsp cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 Tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
  • 1 tsp Foster Clark’s vanilla essence

For Serving

  • Caramel sauce and pecans

Instructions

Prepare the cinnamon swirl

  1. Mix melted butter with brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth, then place the mixture in a piping bag with a fine tip.

Prepare the pancakes

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, milk, and oil until smooth.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter.
  3. Pour some batter to cover the pan’s base, then pipe a spiral of the cinnamon mixture on top.
  4. Once the edges begin to dry, flip the pancake and cook for another minute or until golden brown.

Prepare the drizzle and serve

  1. Whisk cream cheese, milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and pourable.
  2. Drizzle over the pancakes, top with caramel sauce and pecans, and serve warm.
