Pistachio Kunafa Brownies

An indulgent dessert inspired by the rich flavours of Dubai’s luxurious sweets,  featuring layers of brownie, creamy pistachio kunafa, and a silky milk chocolate ganache. Elegant, decadent, and perfect for after-iftar gatherings or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Foster Clark’s chocolate brownie mix
  • 110 ml oil
  • 45 ml water
  • 2 eggs

For the Pistachio Kunafa Layer

  • 1 cup shredded kunafa
  • Ghee for toasting
  • 200 g pistachio butter

For the Ganache Layer

  • 200 g milk chocolate
  • 100 g cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and bake at 180°C for 35 minutes.
  2. Allow to cool completely.

Prepare the kunafa layer

  1. Toast the kunafa with ghee until lightly golden.
  2. Mix with pistachio butter and spread evenly over the cooled brownie base.

Prepare the ganache

  1. Melt the milk chocolate with cream over a hot water bath, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  2. Pour over the kunafa layer and spread evenly.
  3. Chill for 30 minutes until the ganache sets, then serve.

For a deeper, more luxurious chocolate flavour, use Foster Clark’s dark chocolate brownie mix.
