Hot Custard Drink with Saffron

Hot custard drink is one of the easiest and most delicious Ramadan beverages. It can be served after iftar or during suhoor as a warm, comforting drink that adds a cozy touch to your evening.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 Tbsp Foster Clark’s custard powder
  • A few saffron strands for colour and flavour
  • Sugar to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together milk, custard powder, sugar, and saffron while cold until well combined.
  2. Place over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
  3. Pour into small cups and serve hot.

Adjust the thickness by adding more or less custard powder to reach your preferred texture.
