Molten Monster

‘Molten Monster’ is a soft chocolate molten lava cake with a gooey centre. What makes it truly special is the fun presentation: mini monster faces using candy eyes and colourful sprinkles.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Molten Lava Chocolate Cake Mix from Foster Clark’s
  • 3 eggs
  • 70ml vegetable oil

For decoration

  • Candy eyes
  • Colourful sprinkles
  • Icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and lightly grease the ramekins.
  2. In a bowl, mix the lava cake powder with the eggs and oil using a spoon until well combined.
  3. Fill each ramekin with the mixture up to ¾ full.
  4. Place them on a baking tray and bake for 13 minutes.
  5. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  6. Once unmoulded, decorate each cake by sticking on candy eyes and sprinkling icing sugar and colourful sprinkles over the molten chocolate centre.

Foster Clark’s Tip

For best results, fill ramekins only up to three-quarters full to get a perfect molten centre without overflow during baking.
