Custard Bites

Indulge in the perfect blend of crispy baklawa, creamy custard, and whipped cream for a delicious dessert.

Ingredients

For the custard

  • 450 ml milk
  • 2 Tbsp custard powder from Foster Clark’s
  • 2 Tbsp sugar

For whipped cream

  • 1 sachet whipping cream from Foster Clark’s
  • 1/2 cup of milk

For the Cups

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 6 sheets of baklawa dough

Garnish

  • Crushed pistachios
  • Strawberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the custard by mixing the milk and the custard powder and sugar, in a pan on medium heat until it reaches the needed consistency.
  2. Refrigerate to cool.
  3. Prepare the whipped cream by mixing the powder with the milk and refrigerate to cool.
  4. Cut the baklawa sheets into squares, brush with butter and place in the cupcake pan.
  5. Bake until golden at 180℃.
  6. Mix the prepared custard and whipped cream and use a piping bag to fill the baklawa cups with the mix.
  7. Sprinkle with the crushed pistachios and top with a slice of strawberry.
