Pistachio Crème Caramel

A refreshing Ramadan dessert that combines a silky-smooth texture with the rich flavour of pistachio. Quick and effortless, yet perfect for special Ramadan gatherings and delicious after-Iftar treats.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Foster Clark’s extra creamy crème caramel
  • 575 ml milk
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened pistachio butter

Instructions

  1. Pour the caramel sauce included in the pack into individual moulds or one large mould.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the milk, crème caramel powder, and pistachio butter until fully combined.
  3. Once the mixture just reaches a boil, remove from heat and strain to ensure a perfectly smooth texture.
  4. Pour the hot mixture gently over the caramel layer in the moulds.
  5. Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for 2–4 hours until fully set.
  6. To serve, invert onto a serving plate and garnish with crushed pistachios and cream if desired.

Adjust the quantity of pistachio butter depending on how intense you want the pistachio flavour to be.
