Vanilla & Chocolate Cake-Mix Cookies

An easy Eid-friendly cookie recipe made with cake mix. Soft, bite-sized cookies perfect for festive gatherings and gifting. This recipe makes around 60 cookies with minimal effort and a beautiful homemade touch.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Foster Clark’s chocolate swirl cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml oil

Instructions

  1. Set aside 40 g (about 2 Tbsp) of the vanilla part of the mix.
  2. In a bowl, mix the vanilla portion with the eggs and oil until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.
  3. Divide the dough into two equal portions.
  4. To the first portion, add the remaining vanilla mix.
  5. To the second portion, add the cocoa mix included inside the swirl cake box.
  6. Mix each portion well until fully combined.
  7. Shape the dough into small balls (teaspoon size) and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 10 minutes.
  9. Cool completely on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.

Foster Clark’s Tip

For a pretty presentation option, you can roll some of the dough balls in sifted powdered sugar before baking.
